Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting Policy & Reporting to manage external financial reporting and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including direct SEC reporting experience and a CPA credential.

This remote-first position offers the flexibility to work from almost anywhere in the U.S. and would require managing technical accounting research and advising on complex transactions.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 Audit.
• Active CPA or equivalent required.
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting rules.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of external financial reporting.
• Lead technical research on new and complex U.S. GAAP accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with all SEC regulations for financial reporting.
