Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a seasoned accounting leader to oversee global accounting operations, including payroll, close processes, and internal controls in a large, complex organization.

You will drive automation, standardize processes, mentor teams (including offshore members), and partner with Finance and business leaders to deliver accurate, scalable financial operations. Strong communication and change leadership are essential.

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, controllership, or accounting operations.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams or leading large cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, internal controls, and close processes.
• Experience working in a large, complex organization.
• Proven success improving processes, driving automation, and increasing operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and lead organizational change.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Shared Services, a Center of Excellence, Global Business Services, or a large corporate accounting environment.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, BlackLine, Oracle, or similar financial systems.
• Experience leading finance transformation or accounting centralization initiatives.
• Experience implementing automation solutions that improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Understanding of SOX compliance, audits, and internal controls.
• Experience using analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Dataiku, SQL, or similar technologies.
• Experience managing offshore or global teams.
• CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $182,549.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
