Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Manager, Absence & Accommodations to lead the strategy, compliance, and delivery of the company’s absence and accommodations programs. The role requires deep knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FMCSA, PWFA, and Workers' Compensation, and partners with HR, Legal, and ESC teams to ensure compliant, efficient operations.

The position supports a hybrid work arrangement with preferred location in Atlanta, GA, and options for remote work for those within Eastern/Central time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field with 8+ years of progressive HR experience.
• 3+ years in a management or leadership role.
• Proven experience leading leave of absence, accommodations, and/or HR operations programs in a complex organization.
• Advanced knowledge of leave and accommodation laws including FMLA and ADA.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
• Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, compliance, and delivery of absence and accommodations programs for CAI.
• Oversee mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and transitions related to absence and accommodations.
• Interpret CBAs and implement related process enhancements.
• Develop scalable processes, tools, and KPIs for compliant operations.
• Drive continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration in absence and accommodations.
