A leading insurance company is seeking a Management Liability Underwriter (D&O) to analyze and underwrite financial lines products. This position involves sales, relationship management with distributors, and requires 5+ years of experience in underwriting or related fields. The role is hybrid with a competitive salary range of $98,500 - $215,000, depending on experience.
Zurich North America is currently looking for a Management Liability Underwriter, D&O (Senior or AVP). This role can be based in Detroit, Louisiana Virtual, Minneapolis, Nashville, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, or South Carolina Virtual. The Underwriter will analyze and underwrite new and renewal business for Financial Lines Products (Directors and Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability and Crime Insurance) for private, nonprofit companies. This is a market-facing position with a strong sales mindset; the role requires proactively seeking renewal and new account opportunities, and identifying growth opportunities.
This role will be filled at either the Senior or AVP level. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based on the applicant’s experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed.

Compensation ranges and total rewards information are provided and may vary by location and experience. The combined salary range for this position is $98,500.00 - $215,000.00. The proposed salary range for the Senior is $98,500.00 - $165,000.00, with 15% short-term incentive bonus eligibility.
