Job summary
Providence Mission Hospital Mission Viejo is seeking a Senior Mammography Technologist for a part-time Day shift. The role involves performing screening, diagnostic and interventional mammography, operating equipment, developing films, and coordinating patient care with other services.
Ideal candidates have a radiologic technology program background, California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification, ARRT Mammography, and BLS certification, with at least 1 year of mammography
Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification at hire.
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography at hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association at hire.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mammography technologist.
Responsibilities
- Performs screening, diagnostic and interventional mammography procedures.
- Operates mammography equipment.
- Develops films and coordinates patient care with other patient services.
