Job summary

Stanford Medicine Partners is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography. You will perform routine and diagnostic mammographic procedures, prepare and position patients, and ensure image quality while maintaining safety standards.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, a 2-year JRCERT-accredited radiography program with mammography training, and at least 3 years of experience including MQSA/ACR accreditation familiarity.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year JRCERT-accredited radiography program with specific mammography training.
• Minimum 3 years of experience, with at least 1 year in mammography and MQSA/ACR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and diagnostic mammographic procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Prepare and position patients for screening and diagnostic mammography.
• Adjust immobilization devices for optimal views and patient comfort.
• Obtain imaging factors and operate equipment to achieve high-quality results.
• Maintain radiation protection and sterile techniques.
