Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. in Fresno, CA, invites an experienced Mammography Technologist to join Central Valley Medical and Women’s Imaging.

The Senior Mammography Technologist will perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including Contrast Enhanced Mammography (CEM) and breast biopsies, while prioritizing patient comfort, safety and image quality. You will educate patients, ensure proper labeling and documentation, and collaborate with radiologists and nurses to support biopsy procedures and

Qualifications

Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences is required.
Current ARRT, CRT, and CPR certifications are required.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Commitment to patient-centered care and professional excellence.

Responsibilities

Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
Obtain high-quality breast images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Review images for quality and completeness prior to patient discharge.
Adhere to MQSA, ACR, FDA, state, and facility regulations and standards.
Educate patients regarding mammography procedures and answer questions regarding the imaging process.
