Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Mammography Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to perform highly specialized breast imaging. You will work independently, coordinating all mammography procedures and ensuring quality results per MQSA standards.

The role requires ARRT certification in radiography, advanced mammography capabilities, and adherence to FDA guidelines. You will support patient education and collaborate with breast imaging teams in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Certified in general radiologic technology by ARRT (R).
• Experience with mammography imaging and quality assurance.
• Knowledge of radiation safety standards and MQSA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and continuity of care for patients with breast abnormalities.
• Coordinate testing and schedule with radiology team.
• Assist radiologists during interventional breast procedures as needed.
• Communicate results and next steps to patients and care teams.
