Job summary

Nyla Technology Solutions seeks an experienced Reverse Engineering & Malware Analysis Engineer to analyze malicious binaries and dissect assembly code for defense missions. You will translate intel into YARA/SNORT rules, assess risks, and craft mitigations across networks. A TS/SCI polygraph is required.

Salary ranges from $180,000 to $213,000 USD annually, with Nyla FLEX benefits and a comprehensive package. Columbia, MD–hybrid work, competitive leave and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline with extensive reverse engineering/malware experience.
• 7+ years in reverse engineering, malware analysis, or vulnerability research, or 5+ with a Master’s.
• High School Diploma/GED with 11+ years of hands-on experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep-dive static and dynamic analysis on malicious binaries.
• Dissect assembly code across x86/x64/ARM.
• Translate adversary intelligence into actionable detection signatures (YARA, SNORT).
• Identify operational risks and design concrete mitigation strategies across networks.
• Contribute to threat characterization and defense planning.
