Job summary

University of Arizona Athletics is seeking a Major Gifts Manager III to identify and cultivate donor relationships, expanding a Raiser's Edge portfolio and coordinating fundraising strategies. The role emphasizes high-level donor stewardship and strategic engagement across regional audiences.

The position requires a strong background in development, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to lead staff while traveling to events and engaging prospective donors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 7 years of related work experience, including 3 years of managerial experience.
• Knowledge of NCAA, Big 12, and UA policies and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identify, nurture, solicit and steward donors for the Athletic Department.
• Manage donor portfolios and provide high level concierge services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with high-profile clients and new donors.
• Plan and implement fundraising activities to engage regional and national supporters.
• Oversee and manage gift proposals, donor stewardship initiatives, and program budgets.
