Sealed Air Corporation in North Carolina seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician II to diagnose, repair, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on complex production equipment. You will work with a team to restore equipment, reduce repeat failures, and support plant goals, escalating when specialized expertise is required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 3–5 years of maintenance, industrial trade, or related manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, PM, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyors, hydraulics, and pumps.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently within established safety procedures.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, drawings, and work orders.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work with production staff while maintaining a service-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of PPE, LOTO, and Arc Flash safety practices.
• Experience with plastics production equipment preferred.
• Experience with 240V electrical systems preferred; crane/forklift operation may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, calibrates, and repairs production equipment.
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Reads and interprets manuals, drawings, schematics, and work orders.
• Dismantles, repairs, aligns, and tests machines and equipment.
• Coordinates with production staff to prioritize repairs and return equipment to service.
• Maintains maintenance records including parts used and follow-up needs.
• Adheres to safety requirements including PPE and LOTO.
