Job summary

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in electronics/maintenance mechanics or 2-year degree with 10+ years in a maintenance role.
• Experience with repair or preventive maintenance in hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, or electronics.
• Advanced knowledge of TPM practices.
• Advanced PLC experience including RSLogix or similar software.
• Advanced CMMS knowledge.
• Advanced lockout/tagout knowledge.
• Experience with boilers and ammonia/freon or other cooling media.
• Strong welding skills (stick and TIG) to sanitary standards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with plant equipment (e.g., drives, HVAC, hydraulics).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems (wiring, circuits, transformers, motors).
• Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Perform building maintenance (air conditioning, lighting, forklifts).
• Lead maintenance projects including machine rebuilds and new equipment installs.
• Report food safety and quality issues to appropriate personnel.
