Job summary

ACO, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to repair and maintain mechanical equipment and PLC-controlled systems on Production Equipment. The role includes troubleshooting, installations, upgrades, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has electrical technician certification and at least five years of hands-on maintenance experience, with welding, forklift operation, and computer skills. Travel between plants may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an Electrical Technician certification program.
• Hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Fifth year of experience in maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical faults including PLC I/O and relays.
• Repair production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
• Install, retrofit, and upgrade electrical and mechanical systems.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain repair records.
• Operate tools, manage spare parts inventory, and keep areas organized.
• Occasional travel between plants for maintenance on all shifts.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in all tasks.
