Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 7+ years of maintenance experience required.
• 3+ years in a regulated industry preferred.
• Experience maintaining HVAC systems required.
• Basic knowledge of specialty chemicals/pharmaceutical manufacturing and mechanical parts, equipment, tools, and supplies is preferred.
• Must be able to read, understand and comply with work instructions; assigned SOPs and GMP guidelines; blueprints and vendor drawings.
• Must be able to maintain good relationships with co-workers and internal customers.
• Overtime may be required to ensure production schedules are met.
• Travel between locations is required.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to production flow by minimizing downtime due to equipment or parts failures.
• Performs facility maintenance activities within site safety policies and contributes to facility appearance.
• Under the direction of the maintenance / facility leads, perform required tasks to ensure the implementation of the preventive maintenance schedule.
• Assists with calibration activities as directed.
• Recommends replacement of equipment when necessary, and provides input to the critical spare part list, to be added to inventory.
• Assists in obtaining work permits, confined space issues, hot works, and line breaks.
• May perform other related duties as required.
