Job summary

Elite Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician III in Pleasant Prairie, WI to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment, respond to breakdowns, and handle basic welding, plumbing, and electrical issues.

The role requires strong trouble-shooting skills and the ability to train junior technicians. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, 2+ years as an electrician, and familiarity with 460-volt equipment.

Qualifications

5+ years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
2+ years of experience as an Electrician preferred.
Experience working with 460-volt equipment.
Plumbing experience is a plus.
Any training or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs to control and maintain facility equipment, infrastructure, and operations.
Work on production equipment that includes PLCs, extruders, braiders, compressors and chillers.
Regularly inspect and evaluate equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.
Provide written details of work performed on Work Order forms and other documents.
Perform, facilitate, and manage special projects assigned in time set for each project.
Maintain records on equipment status and maintenance.
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and assets per a set schedule.
Determine materials needed for most frequently occurring repair work, prepare requisitions, and monitor inventory.
Train less experienced Maintenance Technicians.
Develop plans and estimates for electrical projects; includes determining time, equipment, and human and material resources needed to complete the work.
Prepare written reports on ongoing projects and on the condition of machinery.
Follow safety rules and always wear PPE.
Perform other maintenance related work as assigned and required.
