Job summary

RPM Management LLC in Trenton, New Jersey is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to keep properties in good condition, perform minor repairs, and supervise staff. The role requires hands-on maintenance, cleanliness, and safety compliance.

You will handle work orders, coordinate turnover of vacant units, monitor equipment inventory, and support the property management team across regions. A valid driver's license and ability to work with little supervision are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with minor repairs including electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting.
• Highly skilled in maintaining overall cleanliness of assigned property.
• Able to work efficiently without constant supervision.
• Able to operate industrial cleaning equipment and snow removal equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have own vehicle and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain the site and ensure it is in good working order and in accordance with all RPM polices. All exterior grounds, common interior areas and parking garages or spaces are to be properly cleaned and or maintained daily. This can or will entail the proper removal of debris, precipitation (water, snow or ice), and any obstructions that may present a hazard.
• Address Work Orders
• Responsible for turnover of vacant units
• Responsible for On-Call emergencies
• Maintain adequate control of inventory of all equipment, products and supplies
• Assist the Property Management team as a leader within their assigned regions
• Have broader knowledge of Mechanical (minor appliance repairs/ minor HVAC repairs), Plumbing, Painting, Electrical, Customer Service
• Serve as a role model, mentor, coach, and trusted resource to all field staff and residents
• Ensure team members are on-boarded effectively, trained, motivated, and equipped to be successful
• Support the RPM training efforts to heighten the technical expertise of staff
• Act as a representative for the Maintenance team when adjustments to process/procedures are being considered
