Job summary

Oneida Nation of Wisconsin is seeking a maintenance worker to support non-gaming facilities. You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and DPW to address maintenance needs and perform preventive maintenance across facilities. The role emphasizes safety standards and is contingent on funding allocations.

Salary starts at $16.88/hour and is negotiable; probationary pay is 5% below the negotiated rate. Applicants should submit diploma/certifications and details of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, HSED Diploma or GED Certification.
• Applicants 50+ are exempt from this requirement.
• Two years of work experience with carpentry, electricity, plumbing and HVAC systems.

Salary: $16.88/hour - Salary is Negotiable (Employees will receive 5% below the negotiated pay rate during their probationary status.)

Responsible To: Building Manager

Summary: Works cooperatively with operations, engineering, and other DPW departments to ensure all Maintenance needs of Oneida Nation are being provided. Perform preventive maintenance on all Facilities for the non-gaming Facilities of the Oneida Nation as needed. Ensure high standards of safety are developed, met, and maintained for the Oneida Nation Facilities. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants please clearly state how you meet these qualifications on the application/resume.

• High School Diploma, HSED Diploma or GED Certification; applicants age fifty (50) and older are exempt from this requirement; two (2) years of work experience with carpentry, electricity, plumbing and HVAC systems.
