Job summary

Leviton is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Seattle, WA area. You will maintain and repair industrial production equipment, performing preventive maintenance and fast repairs to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and automation issues, inspecting components, and documenting activities. You will work with Automation Engineering and mentor junior technicians, contributing to a strong maintenance team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; associate degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years related experience or 2 years technical training
• Maintenance/repair of mechanical equipment and machinery training
• Industrial electrical repair and maintenance training

Responsibilities

• Keep production equipment running through preventive maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to minimize downtime
• Inspect, test, and replace components for peak performance
• Monitor equipment indicators and wear patterns to spot problems early
• Document maintenance and repairs to support PM programs
• Collaborate with Automation Engineering to improve equipment and procedures
• Mentor junior technicians and help build the maintenance team
