Job summary

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Tech II to support our facilities, clinics, and client living quarters by performing advanced maintenance and repairs across building systems, excluding HVAC and refrigeration.

The role includes inspections, scheduling, on-call emergency response, and coordination with vendors to ensure value and reliability in operations across Metro Phoenix area locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years directly related experience in electrical wiring, refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry or related field.
• Must have a valid and current Arizona driver’s license and pass motor vehicle screening for insurance purposes.
• Fingerprint clearance issued by the Arizona DPS or eligible to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair company-owned structures and facilities.
• Assist in inspections for REAC, HUD, HOME and HQS.
• Perform carpentry repairs, advanced building systems repair and metal fabrication; maintain buildings and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, structural, plumbing and other building systems at all facilities.
• Source items/services from vendors to ensure best value; attend trainings to stay updated.
