Job summary

Career Crunch seeks a senior maintenance technician to perform advanced troubleshooting and repair on CNC lasers, punch systems, and press brakes. You will lead PM programs, diagnose complex issues, and support equipment installation and optimization on the production floor.

You will read schematics and manuals, use diagnostic tools, and document activities in CMMS. The role requires 5–8+ years in manufacturing maintenance and strong mechanical/electrical skills.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining metal fabrication equipment (press brakes, CNC laser, CNC turret press, combo machines).
• Experience with major fabrication brands like TRUMPF, Amada, Toyokoki, Diamond.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to diagnose complex issues independently and perform root cause analysis.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and emergency repairs on production equipment.
• Able to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and maintenance manuals and to document work.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and hand/power tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and use CMMS for maintenance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of CNC lasers, punching machines, and press brakes.
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues and implement root cause solutions.
• Support installation, commissioning, and optimization of fabrication equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and maintenance manuals.
• Act as a senior technical resource on the production floor and document work in CMMS.
