Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a leading manufacturing company in New Jersey. You will perform maintenance on machine tools, plant equipment and facilities, following manuals, drawings and verbal instructions.

This role requires 5–7 years in mechanical maintenance, a High School Diploma or Associate degree, and a valid Black Seal Boiler Mechanic license. You may drive for parts and materials and must maintain logs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or Associates degree with related maintenance experience.
• 5–7 years’ experience in mechanical repair and facility maintenance.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Licensed Black Seal Boiler Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on machine tools, plant equipment and buildings.
• Reads and follows manuals, drawings, sketches, schematics and verbal instructions.
• Handles plumbing, light carpentry and general facility maintenance including lighting.
• Drives company vehicles for parts, materials, or personnel when needed.
• Maintains logs, inventory and preventive maintenance records.
• Adheres to safety regulations and best practices.
