Up to $43.00/hr + Annual Bonuses, Greater Milwaukee Area, 1st Shift, Direct-Hire

  • Pay & Incentives: $43.00/hour starting base rate + multiple annual performance-based cash bonuses, comprehensive corporate benefits package, and strong retirement options.
  • Work Pattern/Schedule: Fixed, predictable 1st Shift schedule (Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) providing complete schedule stability with no chaotic 24/7 on-call grind.
  • Environment & Company Profile: Market-leading, employee-centric manufacturer in the Greater Milwaukee area; technologically advanced facility focusing on high-speed system reliability, continuous equipment upgrades, and integrated robotics.
  • Core Technical Scope: Advanced PLC program monitoring and diagnostics (Allen-Bradley or Siemens), industrial robotics, high-voltage AC/DC electrical networks, advanced pneumatic and high-pressure hydraulic circuitry, and shop fabrication/welding.
  • Strict Requirements & Authorization: Requires 7+ years of dedicated industrial machinery maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, US work authorization (U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder), and a local Greater Milwaukee / North Shore commute.

If you are a veteran industrial maintenance professional or automation specialist looking to trade constant emergency night calls and corporate bureaucracy for an elite level of work-life balance, this direct-hire career track offers the perfect destination. This market-leading, employee-centric manufacturer is widely recognized throughout the region for its technological innovation and exceptional long-term staff retention.

Rather than simply running machinery to failure, the organization focuses heavily on high-speed system reliability, continuous technical upgrades, and cutting-edge robotic integration. The company completely rejects rigid corporate silos, ensuring that deep trade expertise is valued, trusted, and directly rewarded with an outstanding hourly wage, fixed 1st shift hours, and multiple annual performance cash bonuses.

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)
  • Lead System Diagnostics & Machinery Recovery: Perform advanced technical diagnostics, root-cause analysis, and precision repairs on high-capacity industrial automation, complex robotic cells, and integrated production machinery.
  • Troubleshoot Industrial PLC Networks: Serve as the primary onsite technical authority for PLC systems, executing advanced troubleshooting, signal tracing, program monitoring, and logic optimizations on Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms.
  • Interpret Complex Engineering Drawings: Read and navigate highly complex mechanical assembly prints, structural layout drawings, and multi-page electrical/fluid power schematics to rapidly isolate system faults.
  • Maintain Power & Fluid Networks: Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance and system rebuilds across high-voltage AC/DC electrical distribution, advanced pneumatic manifolds, and high-pressure hydraulic loops.
  • Execute Machinery Modifications: Utilize precision welding and machine shop fabrication tools to safely modify production machinery, rebuild worn assemblies, or repair critical close-tolerance machine components.
  • Collaborate & Mentor: Partner cross-functionally with plant leadership to eliminate unplanned downtime while providing informal technical mentorship to junior maintenance technicians.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)
  • 7+ Years Industrial Maintenance Depth: Verifiable, progressive background maintaining and troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical machinery inside a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
  • PLC & Robotics Fluency: Proven experience interfacing with, monitoring, and troubleshooting automated manufacturing lines, industrial sensors, robotic arms, and major PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 / Logix or Siemens TIA Portal).
  • Fluid Power & Electrical Mastery: Solid hands-on expertise rebuilding fluid power components (pneumatic valves, cylinders, hydraulic pumps/actuators) alongside safe high-voltage AC/DC electrical troubleshooting.
  • Fabrication & Welding Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with shop machinery and industrial welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) to support rapid equipment repairs and structural modifications on the floor.
  • Stable Employment Background: A consistent, rock-solid work history demonstrating long-term commitment, exceptional attendance habits, and personal accountability with past employers.
  • Location & Legal Authorization: U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder residing within a comfortable daily driving radius of the Greater Milwaukee / North Shore area.
