Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer for a 12-month contract at Hayward, CA. The role offers a pay rate of $65–80/hr on W2 and requires strong reliability and maintenance expertise.

Responsibilities include acting as SME for equipment failures, guiding troubleshooting, supporting preventive maintenance, and contributing to reliability metrics across the plant. A Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with MRO systems including maintenance workflows and spare parts.
• Exposure to capital projects and project management.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; Mechanical preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on equipment failures and root cause investigations.
• Provide troubleshooting guidance on failures and repairs; evaluate equipment service conditions.
• Contribute to reliability metrics and site MRO processes; support spare parts reviews.
• Support preventive maintenance planning and coordination with maintenance teams.
• Assist in conveying maintenance data to engineering and operations for improvements.
