Ensono is seeking a Manager, Mainframe Systems Programming to lead a distributed team, coordinate projects, and drive performance. This remote role in the United States focuses on mainframe systems and cross-functional collaboration with client teams and business units.

The ideal candidate has extensive mainframe programming experience and a strong track record in IT operations, mentoring, and risk management.

Qualifications

• 10 years of Mainframe Systems Programming experience.
• 5+ years in IT Operations with a bachelor’s degree or relevant work equivalent.
• 3–5 years of management experience in a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership for cross-team work.
• Experience coordinating internal resources to meet milestones.
• Ability to deliver clear, well-organized presentations.
• Experience with audits and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership within the tower and BU.
• Provide technical support for software solutions and direction to team leaders.
• Lead client and internal meetings and document outcomes.
• Mentor staff to raise performance and knowledge.
• Maintain project management docs and quarterly/ yearly goals.
• Oversee tickets, aging queues, and risk assessment.
• Coordinate onboarding of new clients and audits.
• Ensure completion of personnel, departmental, and company goals.
