A Day in the Life of a Senior Mainframe Systems Administrator

As a Senior Mainframe Systems Administrator, you will manage and maintain core z/OS and z/VM platforms that support Western & Southern\'s critical business applications. You will oversee system performance, capacity, security administration, and operational reliability. Your day includes monitoring system health, implementing maintenance and upgrades, coordinating with internal IT teams on incident resolution, and ensuring stable and compliant mainframe operations.
