Qualifications

• Typically requires 10+ years relevant experience.
• 10+ years experience/proficiency with mainframe DB2 Systems software.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Project management experience and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical reviews of proposed changes to the NTT environment.
• Provide technical expertise during high severity incidents.
• Review technical support incidents on a regular basis.
• Provide thought leadership related to in-house improvements.
• Participate in all mainframe‑related projects.
• Provide technical support to the NTT Security Team.
• Maintain BCDR documentation for the mainframe platforms.

Skills

Advanced problem determination skills

Mainframe processor and storage hardware knowledge

Mainframe disaster recovery expertise

Mainframe data backup/replication skills

Knowledgeable TCP/IP architecture and communications hardware

SMS pool setup and management experience

Proficiency in supporting z/OS, JES2, CICS or RACF

Excellent customer-facing skills

Education

Undergraduate/bachelor’s degree
