Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a Sr. Mainframe Software and Open Systems Client Services Consultant to advise, implement, and optimize mainframe infrastructure and open-systems integration for enterprise clients in Plano, TX.

You will bridge mainframe systems programming with modern open systems, deliver architectural guidance, and lead POCs and trials to demonstrate value. The role requires deep mainframe knowledge, experience with Zowe and APIs, scripting in REедX, JCL, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years of related Mainframe infrastructure experience.
• Deep understanding of Mainframe infrastructure concepts, systems administration, and z/OS components.
• Experience integrating Mainframe with Open Systems using Zowe, REST APIs, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Model and implement Hybrid Mainframe/Open Systems solutions.
• Coordinate installation, configuration, and system integration of Broadcom Mainframe software.
• Lead demonstrations, trials, and POCs tailored to client environments.
• Provide technical specifications and architecture documentation.
• Deliver expert post-implementation support and knowledge transfer.
