We're Hiring: Senior Mainframe Developer

Location: Minneapolis, MN / Dallas, TX / Hackensack, NJ / Charlotte, NC

Employment Type: Full-Time (W2)

Experienced Senior Mainframe Developers to join our fast-paced and forward-thinking team! If you're a COBOL expert with a strong Hogan background and enjoy working in a hybrid environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, deployment, and support of COBOL and Hogan-based mainframe systems.
• Design and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and related technologies.
• Collaborate across teams to support new feature development and production stability.
• Provide mentorship and code reviews to team members.
• Participate in full life-cycle development, from design through deployment.
• Balance time between new development and production support for UAT and AAE environments.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and Hogan.
• Experience with AS/400, RPG400, RPG III, DEC VAX, HP3000, or SYNON is a plus.
• Exposure to DevOps practices for mainframe CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
• Solid understanding of database design and system architecture.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Required)

• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
