ManpowerGroup seeks a seasoned Mainframe DB2 Systems Programmer to install, configure, and maintain DB2 for z/OS subsystems across multiple sites. You will own subsystem configuration, performance tuning, and high-availability readiness.

This hybrid role requires 7–12+ years in mainframe environments, 3–5+ years in DB2 systems programming, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to keep mission-critical systems running reliably.

Qualifications

• 7–12+ years of mainframe experience.
• 3–5+ years of DB2 Systems Programming / Administration.
• Experience with IBM DB2 for z/OS and replication products (Qrep, SQLrep, CDC).

Responsabilités

• Install, configure, and maintain DB2 for z/OS subsystems (upgrades, patching).
• Own subsystem configuration: ZPARMs, buffer pools, logs, BSDS, catalog/directory.
• Monitor and tune system performance (CPU, memory, I/O).
• Support high availability and data sharing (Sysplex, CF, workload balancing).
• Analyze and resolve failures through dumps, logs, abends, and connectivity issues.
