TT Electronics is seeking a Senior Magnetics Design Engineer to lead the design and development of transformers, inductors, reactors and related magnetic components.

You will partner with customers and internal teams to translate requirements into robust, high-performance designs and guide products from concept through production for high‑reliability applications. This role emphasizes collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement in a global engineering environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing magnetic components (transformers, inductors, reactors).
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of EM, thermal, mechanical, and electrical design.
• Experience leading product development from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of magnetic components and assemblies.
• Perform electrical, magnetic, thermal, and mechanical analysis to develop innovative solutions.
• Partner with customers to understand technical requirements and deliver high-performance designs.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Sales teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support new product introductions, prototype development, qualification testing, and production launches.
• Drive product improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Troubleshoot technical, manufacturing, and quality challenges through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Mentor and support fellow engineers while serving as a key technical resource within the organization.
