Valar Atomics in the United States seeks a Senior Machinist to manufacture parts from the mechanical engineering team, handling high-precision tasks with tolerance demands across plastics and metals.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, selecting tools, and programming CNC mills and lathes using ESPRIT Edge or Fusion 360, with strong attention to detail. Experience in a high-mix, low-volume environment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC machining experience with lathe and mill operations.
• Proficient in CNC programming using ESPRIT or Fusion 360.
• Ability to read GD&T drawings and specs.
• Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and maintain CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Program and edit CNC paths with ESPRIT Edge or Fusion 360.
• Interpret drawings and blueprints to execute precise tasks.
• Select tools and optimize feeds, speeds for accuracy.
• Perform precision inspections with micrometers and calipers.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to improve processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Meet production schedules and quality expectations.
