Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a machinist.
• Proficient in CNC and conventional machining including milling, turning, and routing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience designing and fabricating workholding fixtures.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and teamwork.
• Ability to switch tasks as priorities shift and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional machining equipment such as lathes, mills, bandsaws, and grinders.
• Set up and operate CNC equipment with guidance from lead machinist and programmer.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure correct manufacture.
• Design, build, and install fixtures to hold workpieces securely.
• Monitor machine performance, adjust as needed, and perform routine maintenance.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Assist team members across fabrication as required.
