Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified apprenticeship completion plus 3 years post-apprenticeship experience, or ten years experience in trade.
• Proficient in setup and operation of conventional and CNC machines.
• Welding ability; use of hand-tools; basic measurement and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints and drawings.
• Operates machines to produce precision parts, molds, dies, etc.
• Reworks molds and tools damaged in production.
• Completes all necessary paperwork related to job and maintains safety.
• Assists in upgrading shop skills and keeps area clean.
