Starting wages are $23.75 per hour plus a $3.00 night shift differential. Location requires reliable commute and prior manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED plus 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Language: ability to read and interpret safety rules, operate and maintenance instructions.
• Mathematical: basic arithmetic, rate, ratio and percent calculations.
• Reasoning: ability to follow instructions and solve problems with a few variables.
• Physical: ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Set up machines and observe operation for defects or malfunctions.
• Measure material dimensions to verify accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oiling/greasing and changing knives.
• Prepare production reports, SPC charts and inventory tags.
• Maintain safety compliance and participate in safety programs.
