Job summary

Strativ Group is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build and ship production-ready LLM-powered systems for healthcare workflows. You will span architecture, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and optimization across the full lifecycle of AI products.

You will work with Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams, delivering reliable, scalable ML solutions in a fast-moving startup environment. Compensation includes base salary, bonus, equity, and hybrid work in Palo Alto.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in ML or AI engineering.
• Strong Python and software engineering skills.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, Transformers, and RAG.
• Experience building agent-based systems.
• Experience shipping ML systems into production.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Healthcare or regulated industry experience is useful but not essential.

We are working with a fast-growing Generative AI company building production AI systems for healthcare.

Backed by leading VCs with more than $160M in funding, the business has grown to around 125 people and is continuing to scale. They are now hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build and improve LLM-powered products used across healthcare workflows.

The Role

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on shipping reliable AI systems into production.

You will work across the full lifecycle of LLM products, including architecture, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
