Job summary

Paragon Em is seeking a seasoned M&O Project Manager for the Los Angeles Unified School District – Maintenance & Operations program. The role oversees pre-construction through close-out, coordinating with public agencies, District staff, and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Required is eight years of project/construction management experience and a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or construction management.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of full-time professional experience in project/construction management for commercial and/or public/educational facility construction.
• Experience coordinating complex projects with construction values up to $2M or more.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or construction management is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the pre-construction, bid and award, construction and close-out phases of assigned projects.
• Coordinate with public agencies and District staff during pre-construction and construction.
• Plan, organize and report project status and progress to upper management.
• Manage project budget and schedule and monitor monthly status.
• Review contractor submittals, schedules, and RFCs; respond to inquiries.
• Review change orders to ensure fairness and compliance with contract; address schedule impacts.
