Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and two years of relevant experience in the field. Qualifications

• Two (2) years of relevant work experience in state and local tax with a large public accounting or consulting firm.
• Experience with corporate and flow-through concepts.
• Strong current knowledge in state and local income, franchise and indirect tax.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on state and local tax opportunities and risks.
• Analyze tax risks using tax returns and management interviews.
• Prepare reports on tax due diligence and structuring findings.
• Identify issues affecting purchase price or deal structure.
• Work closely with executives and stakeholders.
• Support multiple engagements ensuring high-quality work.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to exceed client expectations.
