Northwestern Mutual is seeking a seasoned professional to support business development across the organization. You will analyze and develop business cases for acquisitions and partnerships, lead external research, build valuation models, and coordinate cross-departmental activities within the Mergers, Acquisitions and Partnerships team.

The role requires 6+ years in finance-related fields, strong modeling, and excellent communication with senior leaders.

Competenze

• 6+ years of experience in research, financial analysis, corporate strategy, or banking.
• Significant experience developing valuation models for mergers and acquisitions projects.
• MBA with a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related business field preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and interpret financial data and other technical information.
• Understanding of the financial services industry, insurance, and other financial products.

• Develops business cases for acquisitions and partnerships through qualitative and quantitative analyses.
• Outputs may be memos, written presentations, and oral presentations to senior leaders.
• Partners with business leaders to generate and evaluate opportunities to accelerate the multi-year strategy.
• Researches and stays informed on financial services industry trends and Northwestern Mutual’s operations.
• Monitors industry mergers, acquisitions and partnership trends for insights and analysis.
• May develop valuation models for prospective acquisitions and partnerships using Excel.
• Uses modeling techniques: multiples, DCF, and strategic value.
