Job summary

Gunderson Dettmer in New York is seeking mid-level and senior associates for our Corporate group with a focus on transactional matters, including growth equity transactions and M&A. The ideal candidate will have proven M&A experience and be comfortable handling complex deals.

You'll have significant client contact from day one, work with CEOs, boards, and venture funds, and manage multiple matters concurrently while delivering clear and practical advice.

Qualifications

• JD earned 2020–2023.
• Previous large law firm experience required.
• Admitted or eligible to waive into the NY State Bar.
• Eagerness to work with emerging growth companies and funds.
• Demonstrated experience in M&A and/or growth equity financing transactions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Support investor-side financings in later stage rounds and M&A.
• Interact with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and general partners of venture funds.
• Handle multiple client matters simultaneously with meaningful client contact from day one.
• Join Gunderson Dettmer's Corporate group in the New York office.
