Job summary

Graduation from an accredited vocational nursing program is required, with at least three years in health care delivery and one year in a supervisory role preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing is required.
• At least three years experience in health care delivery.
• One year experience in a supervisory/management position within a health care setting is preferred.
• Certification in Correctional Health Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision to assigned LVN personnel in the Bexar County Juvenile Detention Center and Cyndi Taylor Krier Juvenile Correctional Treatment Center.
• Assists in ensuring compliance with the established policies and procedures of University Health and Detention Health Care Services.
