Job summary

JR286, Inc. is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer to lead accessories design for NikeSKIMS license, focusing on luxury aesthetics, materials, construction and storytelling.

You will own design execution, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate trend research into compelling product designs and CMF directions while meeting seasonal calendars.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of accessories design experience.
• Experience in hardgoods and soft goods with luxury aesthetics.
• Strong technical design knowledge of materials and construction.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Viscom and AI design tools.
• Excellent organization, communication and project management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects across teams and own design execution.
• Design on a condensed four-season calendar for accessories.
• Collaborate to develop seasonal creative strategies.
• Translate materials, construction, brand, and graphics across categories.
• Turn trend research into compelling product designs.
• Prepare detailed tech packs, specs, and presentations.
• Contribute CMF direction and product storytelling.
• Present work to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior designers and contractors.
• Coordinate with athletes and trend research with brand partners.
• Collaborate with PLM and cross-functional teams to ensure timelines and pricing.
• Oversee design implementation stages.
• Present concepts and incorporate feedback.
• Other duties as assigned.
