Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science required.
• Minimum 10 years of laboratory experience, with at least 5 years in product development/formulation in lubricants or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial lubricant chemistry and formulation.
• Experience with ASTM and other standard lubricant test methods.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, experimental-design, and data-interpretation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data integrity, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop new industrial lubricant formulations to support product portfolio growth.
• Optimize existing formulations for performance, stability, manufacturability, and cost.
• Evaluate alternative raw materials for supply-chain flexibility and cost.
• Conduct laboratory testing, benchmarking, and product evaluations.
• Analyze data and make technical recommendations based on results.
• Collaborate with suppliers and experts to troubleshoot formulation challenges.
