Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes in long-term care.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand/walk/work on feet for 6-8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and mentorship to medical staff.
• Foster a collaborative environment and promote best practices.
• Lead the interview and credentialing process for medical staff.
• Chair the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee.
• Assist in Department of Health (DOH) survey preparedness.
• Lead the implementation of new clinical programs.
• Stay informed on advancements in geriatric and long-term care.
• Provide direct patient care to residents.
