Selby Jennings is seeking a Senior Long/Short Credit Portfolio Manager to join its expanding credit business. The successful candidate will be PM-caliber with approximately 10+ years of experience generating alpha through discretionary investing across corporate credit markets.

The team seeks individuals who can originate, size, and manage long and short credit positions while maintaining a disciplined, repeatable investment process and delivering alpha across cycles.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10+ years of corporate credit investing experience.
• Proven ability to originate and size long/short credit positions.
• Strong track record of generating alpha through a repeatable process.

Responsabilités

• Generate and manage high-conviction long and short credit investments across global markets.
• Construct and oversee portfolios using IG/High Yield bonds, CDS, and hedging tools.
• Develop investment theses based on fundamental, relative value, and catalysts.
• Manage risk, sizing, and capital allocation for consistent risk-adjusted returns.
• Evaluate earnings, capital structure developments, M&A, and macro trends.
• Monitor market dynamics and collaborate with research, trading, and risk teams.
