Job summary

Amentum is seeking a highly experienced Logistician for a government-focused role in the Hanover, MD area. You will support a multi-functional team in development, procurement and manufacturing of devices, interfacing with program managers and engineers.

Responsibilities include material requirements planning, tracking Contractor Acquired property, and managing purchases through JIRA, with emphasis on accurate invoicing documentation using Excel and AI tools.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience as a Logistician.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AI.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering to fulfill material requirements in the development of devices.
• Track and inventory all Contractor Acquired property for the organization.
• Interact with government tracking system (JIRA) to access purchase requests and fill requests in a timely matter.
• Track purchases from order to delivery and update JIRA system to reflect up to date information.
• Utilizing Excel and AI assistance to develop and create support documentation for the invoicing of all purchases.
