Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead the operations area, align with quality systems, and meet service level agreements at our Alabama facility.

You will oversee supervisors and warehouse staff, drive continuous improvement, manage resources and budgets, monitor KPIs, and report performance to leadership and clients. This role emphasizes safety and regulatory compliance in collaboration with the Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in logistics or operations with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, SLAs, and KPI management.
• Experience budgeting, labor planning, and resource management.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in MS Office and WMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the operations area to meet strategic objectives and client requirements.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in daily operations.
• Allocate manpower, monitor budgets, and drive operational excellence.
• Monitor KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and report performance to leadership and client management.
• Direct daily operations to achieve SLAs and manage warehouse resources.
