Job summary

Tactica Solutions LLC in Colorado Springs, CO seeks a Senior Logistician to support a SETA contract for USASMDC. Responsibilities include managing GCSS-Army property book operations, providing advisory support on supply readiness, conducting inventories, and coordinating end-to-end logistics for mission objectives.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years logistics coordination experience, AR 700-138 familiarity, and IA/DoD IT certifications, with ability to travel and obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline. Relevant work experience may substitute.
• 10+ years demonstrated experience coordinating and planning logistics operations.
• Familiar with AR 700-138 and DoD IT/IA requirements.
• Experience with NETCOM/US Army Logistics processes and inventory accountability.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Manage property book operations using GCSS-Army and related systems.
• Provide advisory support on supply readiness and metrics.
• Prepare status updates, briefings, and reports for leadership.
• Plan and conduct cyclic/annual inventories; prepare reconciliation docs.
• Review/approve hand receipts, shortages, turn-ins, and transfer requests.
• Develop supply SOPs and train junior technicians.
• Coordinate end-to-end logistics including procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
• Support movement of personnel/equipment to meet mission objectives.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and prevent shortages/overstocking.
• Provide logistics input to operational and contingency plans.
