Job summary

Panasonic Avionics Corporation in Newark, NJ, seeks a Senior Logistics Analyst to drive data-driven decisions across logistics, finance, and business units. You will design and govern Power BI dashboards, build automated data pipelines, and ensure data quality and governance.

You will translate business questions into analyses, lead simulations, cost modeling, and oversee outsourced analytics resources, collaborating with IT and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Three to six years of progressive experience in supply-chain analytics, logistics operations, transportation, or related analytical role.
• Advanced Power BI experience including data modeling, DAX, governance, and self-service architecture.
• Hands-on production automation using UiPath, Power Automate, or equivalent platform.
• Experience with simulation studies, cost modeling, root-cause analysis, and data warehouse reporting.
• Knowledge of SAP, WMS, and Excel/PowerPoint; experience coordinating offshore resources preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and govern Power BI dashboards for inbound, warehouse, outbound, and cost reporting.
• Own BI product lifecycle from discovery to deployment and adoption.
• Maintain governance for semantic models, measures, and dataset certification.
• Develop self-service analytics and reduce request volume.
• Lead analytics for Logistics Excellence, manage ad hoc requests, and coordinate outsourced resources.
• Perform simulations, scenario analyses, and cost modeling to support strategic decisions.
• Deliver logistics scorecards, monthly reviews, and executive presentations.
• Develop inbound/outbound transportation rating engines and benchmark freight costs.
