Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc seeks a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the design, deployment and optimization of automation in our transportation and warehousing operations.

You will specify and integrate robotics, conveyors, sortation and control systems, develop PLC and WCS logic, and use data to improve throughput, accuracy and safety. You’ll partner with operations, IT and vendors to deliver new sites and retrofits, manage projects from concept through go-live, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading automation projects in warehousing or transportation.
• Strong PLC programming and control systems design skills.
• Ability to partner with operations, IT and vendors.
