Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Logistics Analyst 3 in Las Vegas, NV to perform a broad range of logistics support tasks across planning, maintenance, supply, packaging, and data management for systems and equipment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Business/Logistics with 10+ years, strong communication and MS Office skills, travel up to 100 days/year, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Logistics or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication and working knowledge of word-processing, Excel, and integrated software applications; organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Travel up to 100 days per year.
• Ability to pass and maintain government TS/SCI clearance; US Citizenship required for Top-Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze parts and problems to determine logistics requirements with minimal supervision.
• Initiate purchase requests for repair/overhaul of rotables removed from aircraft.
• Prepare purchase requests for spares, consumables and rotable items.
• Interface with customers to define and report status of tasks.
• Review reports, drawings, specs, procedures; assist with tests and validations.
• Prepare routine draft correspondence, design charts, spreadsheets, Gantt charts, and draft analytical reports/ minutes.
• Maintain logistics planning documents and policies; support logistics tasks.
• May supervise entry‑level personnel; step in as team leader when supervisor is out.
• Manage day-to-day processes, resolve issues, and keep orders on track.
• Maintain approved vendor lists to source parts and supplies efficiently.
